I just said that it's a matter of principle. Allow one, allow them all.

Those poppies should be left off shirts too. I dont particularly find the growing militarisation of football in this country for two weeks in November every season nice to watch.
The poppy is beautiful, it also annoys a few knobheads who don't like them, which gives extra kudos to those who wear them.

I think it's spot on.

Will it be ok in the future if a football team wants to wear a fascist party armband to reflect who's in power in their country? The principle is the same: keep politics out of football.
There’s a difference between promoting a political viewpoint and supporting basic human rights. One is political the other isn’t. I’m sorry you don’t see that.
