Is there many on here who were at this last weekend?

My brothers band, THE ROCKETS, played 7 gigs at it. They played 4 times in the real Cavern, twice in the cavern pub and also in the adelphi hotel. They had a great time, and are already booked in for next year. A big gang of mates were over too, and im definitly going next year. Hopefully Everton will be home that weekend.

It was called the Mathew Street festival locally mate. I was meant to go but had an awful hangover thanks to Sharpy the monster. Did he enjoy it?

He had a ball chico, him and the lads stayed in an apartment for 4 nights, they were drinking before during and after playing, he said he had germans and austrians asking for his autograph thinking they were big stars or something.

They play rockabilly stuff mainly, only the odd beatles tune, and because 99% of bands were doing beatles stuff(obviously) the crowds were loving them cos it was slightly different.

I,ll be there next year. I,ll meet ye in the lisbon for a manhattan.

Ha, ha, quality name that, im sure there was many rip off names like it but im not sure if crowded scouse played.
