Which boring [Poor language removed] is going to win ?

Think Murray or Mo Farah should win personally, Wiggins will be found out in a few years to be dosed up (most of the cycling fans/press outside of england already have strong suspicions based on various factors) so don't think he deserves it.

Hmmm not sure why you've been so negative in your thread title and post mate.

It's been quite a remarkable year for British sport. One we are unlikely to see ever again.

Anyway. My pick is Ennis.

Its not negative, its just sport stars are generally dry as **** and have no personality.

dullard is a more appropriate term. It has indeed been a great year for british sport though

In a way, because of all that has happened this year,i think it should have just been one total award or something like that, some might say its unfair on the others that wont win.

Wiggins and team Sky have been majorly outspoken in terms of doping. I'd be suprised if he was caught doping TBH.

I can't see anyone else winning it after what he done in the tour.

so were countless riders who have since been convicted, look how long it took armstrong to get called out. the tests for epo etc are always several years behind modern doping techniques hence why riders can get away with it.

i posted this is another thread a few months back...

Wiggins' overnight transformation from guy who gets dropped even by the sprinters to stage racer coincided with another drug entering the sport. AICAR. A drug that sounds like the dream of mankind: makes you lose fat and gain muscle!

Wiggins couldn't climb with even average climbers because he had too much fat and it's literally impossible to lose that fat without also losing muscle and therefore functional threshold power which would make his time trialling way worse.
But with AICAR, it was suddenly possible!

AICAR came into the peloton and immediately reporters started to report that almost every top rider had suddenly become ridiculously skinny. So many commented that andy schleck looked anorexic. This was early 2009, which was when wiggins had that amazing transformation

Now, the proof of this would be to see if wiggins lost tons of weight at that time, right?

Heres another angle for when you have the inevitable "that has been photoshopped" reaction.

Nani definitely deserves the worldwide award, not only has he been bossin 2012, but hesa humble bloke and does loads outside of football.
