To be honest I never watch the Football League show.
And it's not because I have no interest in football beyond the PL.
I rarely watch MOTD on a Saturday night if we haven't played on the Saturday.

No, I find these days I am an Everton fan only and any football which doesn't relate to EFC doesn't interest me that much.
A far cry from the days when I would have stood on the platform at Lime Street on certain Tuesday or Wednesday nights in September in the late 80s deciding which town team in Lancashire or Cheshire I would go to to see someone like Bury or Stockport or Preston play in the opening League Cup round, back in my ground hopping days.
In the 90s I followed the World Cup from Foxboro, Ma. all the way to Pasadena, Ca. and then all round southern France four years later.
I have most definitely lost my passion for football outwith the confines of L4

I am happy with that,ive always been one that thought when Match of the day was not on,on a saturday night,why not move The footy league show to the MOTD slot,instead of the mad late night time,or put it on at 9PM on bbc2,just before MOTD started [and i know its now repeated on sunday morning,but was not alaways],so perfect for me

Good news really as the telly on Saturday nights is badly gash, with all the reality bollox that's normally on. It'll mean being able to watch footy from 9pm - midnight instead of the usual crap.

Have to admit, the only time I've seen it on the beeb is when we've fallen asleep to MOTD and woken up to the highlights of Barnsley v Fleetwood Town. At that point you know you defo shouldn't have had that last glass of red.
