Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich have appointed Jupp Heynckess as head coach for the rest of the season.

All the reports I've heard or read were they want the Hoffenheim lad but at least one on the board wants to see how this season pans out and the plan was to let ancelotti see out the season before appointing the new boss . The situation however got away from them so they were in a bit of a quandary and therefore a caretaker , especially one with a record like his , seemed the best option .

I agree, it makes sense really. If they are really set on having Nagelsmann, there was no point bringing in a permanent coach now. It'd be intetesting though if things don't go well for Nagelsmann this season, we all know how fickle a sport it is! It doesn't take a lot for a coach to go from being the next big thing to a risk.

another senario - maybe Jogi Löw would be a consideration after the world cup.
