Yeah but they tackle for the sake of winning the ball. As suits said, who is gonna replace Carsley (or just be themselves) when an oppisition player is knocking our lightweight midfield all over the pitch.

Instead we dont get within 2 ft of the oppistion incase we break a nail?

Good hard but fair tackles to shake the oppistion up are a part of the game, and if we play a team who do it to us we need someone to be able to do it back, and we dont really have anyone like that.

There's a difference between that and bad fouls designed to hurt a player, i dont wanna see that from any Everton player.

Who is gonna kick(stand up to) the oppistion back when they do it to us?
