Baxter to Palace rumour

Don't think he's played whenever we've been in form and actually provided chances to our strikers, mainly jelavic. Bit unfair to dismiss the lad when he's only really had snide cameos here and there when we've been losing and playing poorly.

Did anyone see him post that picture of his tackle on Twitter? That fact that's the memory I'll have of Jose if he leaves says it all.

Are we back on the fish puns already? Wrong thread mate ;)

Or are we talking winkie related pics sent out to the masses (or, as I like to think of it, "doing an Ashley")?

So, to summarise so far; not had much of a chance but good in the tackle? More info please, although the less tackle related the better.
Will he work for nothing?
Can we sell him straight on to Juventus for £10m? (no sell on clause.)
Can you see intelligent life in The Championship from up there?

The latter, ha. I'd assume only Hibbo would send pics of his fishing tackle out to the masses.

God, he would as well wouldn't he? To be fair, I bet he's got a mighty collection going on :)

To actually post on topic though, I haven't seen Jose play enough to judge whether he's got the ability to make the step up to the first team. Or, if I'm honest, the footballing nouse to differentiate between a true emerging talent and the next Cademarteri. What do people think who might be better placed to judge?

A season on loan to a championship club like Palace who give youngsters ago is exactly what he needs!. Ive seen him alot in the reserves, mainly highlights i admit, but he looks a cut above, ability and brain wise, he's technically good and one step ahead of the rest.

Would like to see Jose stay think he's gritted his teeth for too long on the bench, next year need to see Jose, Vellios, Barkley and Duffy all in and around the 1st team consistently! Those young lads would really do well given the chance but all Evertonians know that you wont get a game at Goodison unless you're 30+
