BF4 Beta released, had a bash on it last night on the xbox 360 controls are slightly different, takes a little getting used to. But looks promising.

Anyone else had a go?

(You have to have had bf3 premium or Medal of honor warfighter to get Beta access)

Did you change the button layout to veteran? Basically just the same as BF3 apart from it's RB to spot and B to knife, hold start for the scoreboard and a few others that don't really matter.

The sound engine sounds even more brilliant than it did on BF3. The guns are a real pleasure to use and the dynamic map changing events are brilliant for changing up the game.

The vehicles are harder to get out of. But yeah, changed the vehicles to veteran. Unlocked the defib as well so moving on. Don't like getting gunned down getting out of a lift, it's like "the departed" ffs.

B3 sucked. No blood, can't skip the boring cut scenes and too much fighting in the dark. Really put me off Bf4. Bf2 was brilliant; probably the best war fps of all time. Loads of blood, great dialogue, and best of all - you can skip past the f***in' cut scenes. Why does every fps game insist on having no skip features? It is so frustrating to listen to endless rabbit when u just want to get on with the action. I loved BF2 for that.

It's freaking awesome!!!!.

I'm going to be even more excited playing it tonight knowing you don't get access until friday.

And then Friday is going to be Noob day!

My 360 got stolen last week with my copy of BF4 in it. I've bought a secondhand console to replace it and picked up a secondhand copy of BF4 with the China Rising Exp pack included this time. When it arrived disk 2 was missing (campaign mode) and I cant access the China Rising maps. Has anybody else bought the Exp pack version? Should the maps be available straight away or am I supposed to enter some sort of code to access them. I think I've been sent a copy of disk 1 from a non expansion pack version in the box for the exp pack and missing disk 2, not great!
