Apparently the bat has been in the city coat of arms since the 1300's.

It's still stupid tbf. There's about a milion things out there that use the same/similar logo and no one BATS an eyelid, but it's probably down to the fact that if DC miraculously win this - they'd actually get some moneys.

However they won't cuz it's a stupid lawsuit.

Yeah, read that too. One of the biggest ones was when Apple sued Samsung for their phones having the same shape as the iphone or something daft like that.
