Pretty much how I remember it mate. I think £35k a week was the figure Hutchison wanted / Hughes got, but we received £5.5m and got Hughes on a free.

Earlier that season Hutchison dominated England''s midfield and scored in a 1-0 win in a Euro 2000 qualifier at Hampden.
