Yep, that was it! I remember praying it didn't go to a replay down at Plough Lane.

Focusing on the league would get us viewed a lot more. More live games = more money. Being part of the sky super sunday shows means extra millions.
Money means more chance at success it can mean the difference of an extra couple of players in the first team squad.
An FA or a league cup whilst being all very nice and shiney doesnt mean a long term cash influx. I understand that supporters want it all and want it all right now - but it was pandering to those requirements and signing average players for the sake of it that nearly busted this club of ours.
A generation have never seen us do the trophy thing. A generation have never seen us as favourites for relegation and seasons going to the final game. A generation hasnt seen us line up with Pembridge and Gemmill and Angell and Bakayoko and and and and.....
If we want change we might just have to get used to traversing from the position we are in in order to make it to where we want to get.
We nearly got relegated in 2004 mate. That's not a generation ago.
We're in the top 6 for most games on tv as it is.
It's far more important we win something at this point.
Wouldnt mind going & taking kids at that price, but with no aways last season I doubt it'll go down to zero aways.
I will be shocked if it doesn't mate. Nearly 6000 tickets for a midweek away - if you want to go, you'll be able to go.
What a depressing view of football as a whole.
