Anyone know where is good to park? I went a couple of years ago doing the 92, but that was a weekend and it was all free parking in the council car parks, doubt they will be midweek? Think I parked behind the courts last time.

Yep, just Googled it. All council car parks in Barnsley free after 6. I parked on County Way behind the courthouse last time if anyone else is looking for somewhere. 10 minute walk from the ground and right next to the train station.

I live near Barnsley and have held a season ticket at oakwell for 12 year when i was younger and still manage to attend the odd game, however have always followed the blues and now go to more Everton games than Barnsley, all council car parks are free after 6pm and all pubs should be friendly enough to get a good pint in the town centre, there shouldn't be any trouble, the police try and keep away fans in the metrodome complex which does serve decent enough lager and is close to the away end. i will be sitting in the Away end for the first time at oakwell. train station and town centre is only 5 minutes from ground.
