I think he should be kept with the first team and develop through the current first team like rooney and rodwell did. league one wont offer much clout for a player of his quality in my opinion.

I can't see Barkley joining a Greek team. Let's face it, why should he join a club in a country where the government is an utter shambles, the opposition totally ineffective, the economy's in ruins, the infrastructure is collapsing and the decisions are mainly made by faceless bureaucrats in a faraway country?

Come on lad. I agree with you about their relative qualities but sending out an 18 year old for match experience has benefits that sending out a 30 odd year old doesn.t
