Thanks all for your very kind best wishes, it was a fantastic weekend - I'll post some pictures a little later (including Italian presenters).

In the meantime here's a clip of an incident that happened in the Barcolana Classic on Saturday - the classic is a race for older boats before the main event on Sunday) - its worth watching closely

Here's an idea of how the start looked like after about 400m. We were well placed and certainly in the top 50 boats at that stage. Unfortunately Sunday was the calmest day imaginable and sailing even in the best racing yachts was nearly impossible.

Of the 1800 participants only 20 finished the race due to the calm conditions! We did not finish the course but were in the top 100 when the race was timed out.
