The Esk

Player Valuation: £70m
On Sunday I am participating in the Barcolana - one of the world's largest boat races.

Over 2,000 boats from 6m up to 30m+ will be taking part. I know we won't win but we will be looking to finish in the top 100 and perhaps 1st in class.

Will send some pictures whilst there, but here's a couple to wet the appetite!

Here's a picture of the boat we're sailing in (not the exact boat but the same model)

that bottom picture is great, do you sail it over to spain as well that would be a good trip, not one i would feel cumfortable with as im not to confident on the open water.

FORZA ESK !!

The Esk and his family are the g.o.t.ers most likely to be in an adventure program doing a round the world row, or tandem ride via both poles, towing their boat over the ice on bikes with nail tyres.

If the Esk was Ralph Fiennes it would be pronounced with an 'L' in it as well.

You must have loved going on camp with the B.B., I hated them in some ways because I couldn't swim, so couldn't do anything that involved water, which is why I've got my kids swimming as early as possible.

Thanks Reidy - I have always loved the outdoor life, count myself very fortunate now to be able to do a few of the things I've wanted to do.

We've got a load of sponsorship too so are splitting the proceeds for a couple of children's charities, so some good will come out of it as well as a good time!
