Ok, lets put it this way.

MacKenzie knows the headline has potential to be controversial. (No idea how old you are, but football and football fans were a bit different back then).

So, he calls his boss. "Have you got evidence Kelvin?" "Yeah Boss, direct from South Yorkshire Police"

"Ok Kelvin, if it is sourced and you are happy with it, run with it"

Reckon it would go no further than that. Back then.

Why should sutton even care, honestly out of town kopites celebrate the hillsborough anniversary more than christmas, maybe if they stopped using a human tragedy as weapon against other fans when they don't get a result I could take anything that club does seriously, and not see it as a pathetic PR stunt

Not generally in favour of bans.

No problem with people or groups instigating a boycott, but ultimately people should make up their own minds and act in accordance with their views/conscience.

People making the choice freely not to buy, as very many do anyway, is a much more powerful statement.

I would never buy The Sun for a whole myriad of reasons and that's my personal stance. I find it a disgusting, gutter-level publication on all levels.

They are trying to sell their own tv rights overseas, so maybe a conflict with SKY is on its way.
