Think its a great idea.
Keep up the momentum of these little tweaks of Wales most popular destinations to preserve and promote the language.

Find it very odd though that the telegraph and other papers are suggesting the name change is happening due to Brecon Beacons names association with climate change. And all the gammons are lapping it up saying the woke brigade has gone to far (again).

The area commonly known as The Brecon Beacons will in future be referred to officially by its Welsh name, as it should be. Yr Wyddfa (snowdon) next and order in the galaxy will go some way to being restored.

*(Goes back to speaking welsh when the english enter the thread).
Does that mean that Brecon is also renamed Brycheiniog and that the Brecon Jazz festival is now called Gwyl Jazz Brycheiniog?
Trips off the tongue nicely

I find it really sad that we seem to be the only country in the world who continuously have to justify speaking our own language.

Amen brother! When you put it like that it really hits home!

This is why im glad that there is a some momentum building and small changes happening across the board.
Changing the names of our most popular tourist destinations to Welsh can only benefit the revival of the language.
