Right gents in need of some help.

I took out a careers development loan and when I took out a loan I signed a standing order mandate and gave Barclays the details to my TSB account.

Now they're saying the account is in arrears was I meant to do something else other than supply them the correct info and sign the form...

Was it a direct debit mandate you completed? If it was then they should have set it up, if it's a standing order then usually you set that up yourself with your bank.

Standing order but it's says about taking money out of my account.

I even called them up in Mumbai or wherever they're based and asked them once I sent it in what did I need to do now and they said nothing.
