Bands that started off good then turned into trash

After reading through the rock bands thread it got me thinking about bands that started off good but then got worse over time.

The 2 that immediately come to mind for me are Linkin Park and Green Day. Their latest albums are absolutely terrible imo.
 

Most of them, although trash is probably a bit harsh.

Most bands best work is done in their early years, people are generally more creative at a younger age... there are obviously exceptions to this.
 
Kaiser Chiefs.
The Streets.
The Frattellis.
Biffy Cyro.

Arctic Monkeys had one amazing album but the rest haven't been as good.
 
I think the vast majority of bands find it hard to maintain the energy of that big break through, before they have had their success, like marvin hagler said, its a lot harder to get up and go jogging in the morning if you are wearing silk pj's
