BALDIES AND SLAPHEADS, WHAT DO YOU USE...

I remember when I went in the Army to do my National Service. 1954 it was. On about the third day, we were marched down to the Army barbers to have our first 'military' hair cut. I remember this as though it was yesterday. There was one guy with jet black hair which was done in a DA, the style at the time. When it was his turn, we all looked at one another when we heard him say (almost pleading) 'not too much off please'. You can guess who walked out with the most severe 'military' hair cut.
