Alcaraz looked decent

Kone hasnt played due to injury

Pienaar similar

Gibson is on the way back from a serious knee injury

They need patience, not criticism

Gibson is a sick note whose injured more than he is fit.

Pienaar can't seem to play more than 2 games without suffering a groin/thigh injury which raises questions has his age caught up with him.

Alcaraz is alright but with distin back to decent form alongside jags and stones he's the CB I would choose to get rid off and replace with younger blood. Also injury prone.

Who knows what Kone will come back like, the knee cartilage issue might have done a torres to him and took his yard of pace. Alongside his age again I would rather we looked to flog and do a bit of scouting ala sakho at West Ham and brought someone in who could do a job

Birdman has looked decent, but somehow always seems to pick up a knock when both he/we least need it.
The jury remains out on Traffic, we can but hope that if/when he gets fit he can shows us what El Bob thinks he's capable of.
Peanuts I'm sorry to say is on the downward slope, he may yet have a few swansong displays in him, but I think he's slightly past his best.
Gibbo is injury prone for sure. A decent holding midfielder when fit, but that is all too rarely.
Whether any of them now could or would command a reasonable transfer fee is debatable, but in the interests of the youngsters - hopefully chomping at the bit to play - maybe these guys have to be allowed to move on in the summer.

Absolutely agree.

If decent offers come in then we should consider - but simply throwing them on the scrap heap or dismissing the idea that they have any worth is ridiculous to me.

I MASSIVELY hope Kone proves the doubters in here wrong. I cant believe how unsympathetic some have been towards getting an injury through no fault of his own. Hopefully now he gets fit and can be judged like a footballer should be - by the performances on the pitch.

I like Alcaraz as I say, I think hes well worthy of a place as back up defender. Gibson and Pienaar really need to find some fitness but as you say, it may be unlikely that they ever will based on previous experiences.
