Baines etc

but i must say, i have a feeling the bottle of bleach might not get used this summer! but ofc not to jinx it, i do have have a bottle at stand-by!

One can only hope. I always fear that I may be forced to clear out the bleach aisle of my local supermarket come August 31st.

On a brighter note, if we can unload Yobo and Vic to Wigan we may have a little pot of funds to work with and allow Moyes to work his magic. One can only hope.

Fellaini and Baines are not safe till sept 1st. Tbh I'm kinda expecting IF any PL teams want them they WILL wait till deadline day with a big offer.

On a positive note I really doubt utd would offer the kind of money we would want for Baines and I also doubt he'd push for a move (lescott style) especially with the positive summer we appear to be trying to have bringing players in.
City chelsea an arsenal are not looking for a LB (bonus).

I think felaini is the real danger leading up to deadline day. Any of the top 4 or 5 clubs and foreign teams could potentially come out of the woodwork with a big offer!

IF we manage to keep all our leading stars tho... I really think there's the possibility of a couple more new faces to go with pienaar and Naismith and I must say that would mark an outstanding summer for us!

I know the window closing is a while off yet but im starting to believe that we are going to keep baines and that United, Chelsea, Arsenal etc are not going to pursue any of the players that its important we keep hold of.

Im hoping that theres not going to be a late flash sale and that we could even bring in a couple of decent loan signings.

Anyone else feelimg optimistic ?
United are still actively pursuing Baines and if they hit the right price he will go. If so then good luck to him and DM will bring in someone else equally talented who might even be better defensively. I just hope it doesnt happen too late. We should be telling them"this is his price, meet it this week or no deal". That way we can plan to be with/without him and it would show Baines that they value him high enough or not so wouldnt unduely unsettle him.

And a couple of weeks ago bluefox said he'd turned man u down.

Incidentally, all the man u fans I've spoken to don't rate Baines, unbelievably. Let's hope that stays the case and he remains here.
They don't rate him cos he doesn't play for united.
Really unknowledgable bunch of supporters them like
