I know the window closing is a while off yet but im starting to believe that we are going to keep baines and that United, Chelsea, Arsenal etc are not going to pursue any of the players that its important we keep hold of.

Im hoping that theres not going to be a late flash sale and that we could even bring in a couple of decent loan signings.

Anyone else feelimg optimistic ?

I never feel confident until the window has closed, even then you can never fully relax knowing January is round the corner. At least we have had some transfers in that have improved the squad and business has started early, unusual for Everton after the last few painful summers. Maybe we will actually start the season before we are packing the tinsel away
