Baines: “Our games to wins ratio isn’t good enough”

I think it's mentally they're weak more than physically. Peter Reid I think got it wrong midweek when he said you need (like the 80s team) a lot of nasty players. You cant get away with nasty these days, but we have pretty aggressive players like Besic, Barry, Mirallas, McCarthy who can all leave a foot in.

I just think it's amazing we have a lot of experience on the pitch and yet there's been zero application of it in this run of games where leads have slipped. That beggars belief. I expect the Baines', the Jagielkas, the Barry's to be all over those situations and getting a grip. That's why I agreed with the poster above who said it's annoying that they keep on saying we need to get a grip but they keep on failing to.

Don't get me wrong Dave, I can easily pull about 48 articles from Jagielka from the last 15 months saying "we must start winning", 30 from Osman saying "we will start winning" and so on.

Footballers are like robots and just repeat themselves every 8-9 games or so. I get less annoyed at what the players say compared to what the manager says because I like to think a manager will lead from the front.

Anyways roll on Sunday mate and fingers crossed their actions speak louder than words for a change ;)
