I was dreading last Christmas in the months leading up to it, it was the first one on my own and I'm glad I caught that bug as it kept me in bed for most of it. This year I'm just numb to it and would have loved nothing more than to have a family of my own doing all the festive things and just enjoying it. I've been a bit envious seeing all the happy couples and families in the shops but I'm happy for them and hope they all realise just how wealthy they are. Tomorrow is just another day for me but I hope next year I'll be enjoying it with someone.

I'm on my own this year as well mate, 200 miles from family/friends and stuck in quarentine. I'm alright with it though; I was stuck in the Middle East for over 10 months after this thing kicked off. I'd rather make sure they're safe and get by with phone calls/zoom. You'll be sound, the world is fecked up right now, you'll be amazed how quickly stuff turns around. Stay strong, blue.

The gits make it so hard to avoid these days. Avoid live tv (nothing on anyway), keep warm, eat loads and snooze alot and it will soon be over.

I'd like to start the 'Get Christ out of Christmas' movement - lets face it , its a secular holiday based around consumerism and gluttony... Yay!
