Does anybody else find it absolutely hilarious that the commentators on Sky will apologise for any bad language shouted by a random old bloke at the back of the stand, yet make no mention of several thousand fans singing 'F VAR' or 'your support is [really bad]'?
It would make a pleasant change if the commentator said ' if you've been offended by any bad language you may have heard, GROW UP!'

Glad you raised this point.

It drives me nuts when they “apologise” for the odd F word being heard from a spectator.

Stop apologising Sky....you have lots of things to apologise for, but that ain’t one of ‘em.

Another thing that annoys me.....wise up you blerts. No one is reading your lips.

They are though.

There have been stories published and players punished based on lip-reading. Suarez and John Terry notable examples.

In the Terry case, he was adamant that he hadn't said what he'd allegedly said. We all have our views on that, but let's assume for a second that he was truthful about that - I could understand why players choose to cover their mouths.
