I'd say deviant, sick, vile behavior runs a bit deeper than the ills of society. I mean, to rape, harm a baby/child is beyond comprehension no matter what your upbringing - there are no excuses, reasons, bar being a twisted [Poor language removed]. Is it the internet that just highlights this? Has it always been going on on such a grand scale, just with the birth of instant news sharing we are suddenly aware. I have a crime page on my facebook from the USA that deals with breaking news of c**ts like baby P's mother, and the amount of sick f**ks being arrested daily for abuses like this is unbelievable.

I often wonder have evil aliens landed and are shape shifting, or putting something in the water.

I struggle to think it's a coincidence that the majority of these terrible cases seem to occur in working class or deprived communities. Nurture always overrides nature imo, very few people are born evil.

The parole board will look at her mental state, what involvements she had in the death of her son, her upbringing such as bring brought up in poor conditions by an abusive mother, victim becomes abuser, low level of education.

good point there, i wonder how much 'power' this panel actually have and if its more the actual law that is 'at fault' for getting her released

They were cleared of murder due to lack of evidence(how I don't know) but convicted of 'causing or allowing the death of a child or vulnerable person'.

She was ordered to be held indefinitely with a minimum of 5 years in 2008 until deemed no longer a risk to the public in particular small children.

So it seems she has served the very minimum sentence she possibly could have.

They were later tried for the rape of a two year old with the boyfriend being found guilty but she was cleared.

Maybe the majority of people are working class or deprived full stop. so therefore the majority of terrible cases are going to come from working class or deprived areas.

But yeh I can't really think of any of these cases were the family involved has been wealthy.

The middle class is now larger than the working class as far as i'm aware.
