I try not to buy in to transfer rumours however this one seems real to me for some reason more so than others... It also seems a link that would not only have come atound because of Walsh but the fact Koeman keeps a strong eye on past clubs

Cant say ive watched much of valencia or am too knowledgeable about the transition between La Liga and EPL whether its easy or not

But in the video i see alot of qualities we so desperately need

He did struggle, alot. He was amazing for years before that Valencia move though.

Injuries and just general poor performances ever since joining Valencia but was a monster for Monaco. Whether it was a settling issue or the language barrier it's difficult to say, if he speaks English or Spanish he should have found communication with Mustafi easy but they never seemed a settled partnership.

Very much the "bull in a china shop" type of defender but does occasionally look to bring the ball out of defence and as far as im aware hes also pretty useful in the air and very physical.

Think he would be a good buy. A few saying about him having a bad season last year but worth remembering that they sacked the had 3 different managers including Gary Neville who had no previous experience and Phil Neville on the coaching staff all season.

he was quality for toulouse and went for big money to Monaco. Monaco fell foul of Financial fair play (Reason they loaned out falcao) and so had to sell and a few big teams wanted him when he went to Valencia.
