I'm 30, work a Mcjob and live in a crap shared house (though with sound flatmates).
I have little motivation to change these things.
Been an Everton fan for about 22 years because when I first started becoming interested in watching footie on telly dad decided it was time to take me to Goodison for the first time and nothing was ever the same.
Am joining GOT now cos before I've been satisfied just watching games and talking to fellow blues in real life. This season I've found myself thinking about games in between them to the extent that it's taking over all my spare moments.
This is due to the incredible new manager, style of play, and undisputably the best squad I've seen in my life time. GOT seems the place to be to quench this new thirst / waste this new time.
Best Everton moment for me is the 3-2 Wimbeldon game we went to when I was 10 and it's not even close. It's still the only time in my life I remember crying with happiness and feel incredibly privileged to have sat in the Grand Old Lady that day to watch Lazarus rise.
I was born and raised on the Wirral though I'm currently living away from Merseyside (it's weird here: you say "And yours" to the person who just poured your pint and they don't get you're offering them silver, they look at you like Jan Molby looking at salad, total incomprehension).
Anyway I feel a bit of a tit making myself the centre of attention here - like a reality TV star or Joey Barton - but it'd be rude not to say Hello and now I'll now feel a little less of a geg in when I post on other threads.
Cheers and COYB
