Awful Premier League Era Players

Cost plays a big factor. Some promoted teams come up and obviously have players who's quality is suspect.

In regards cost:
Shevchenko -- 31 million I think and offered nothing
Rebrov -- 15 million and offered very little (both Ukranian)
Aquilani -- 20 million and again offered nothing.

For us it has to be Kroldrup -- less cost than the above, but not suited to this league.

Worst performance from a top flight player I have seen though would be Paul McShane. I don't think I have ever watched a player at Goodison and laughed at what they where doing for almost an entire match.
His performance in the 7-1 defeat was like that of someone who had gone on Surprise Surprise for doing something good in the community, and lived the dream of playing for their favourite football team.

That bit about McShane is so true. He was directly at fault for at least 4 of the goals in that game
