I like Yield , Brain of J , Faithful , No way , Given to fly , Wishlist , Do the Evolution , MFC , Low Light , In Hiding , All those yesterdays....No Code is good too , some good songs on Binaural also..But my favorite albums are VS and Vitalogy...Love foxymophandlemama , most don't like it but's really great and haunting...Corduroy , Go , Animals , Last Exit , Whipping , RVM , Leash, Not for you are great from these albums....They were never the same after they booted Dave Abbruzzese

Love sexy is a great album mate , recheck it out , you listened to One night alone by Prince , just him and a piano , majestic..

St Anger also a good album IMO , give it another go , my faves from them are Master of Puppets & Ride the lightning..

Have you got the Chris Cornell Unplugged in Sweeden album? Saw Chris Cornell in 2007 in Las Vegas , how lucky to be on holiday at the time and him playing in Vegas fantastic gig at the Pearl theater..

Most people haven't heard of Mr Bungle, hence why they don't know how much of a terrible rip off this album is, they got much better thankfully.

Hmm, good thread

One that springs to mind is the first Foals album. So obviously I didnt love them at the time, thought it was pretty gash

But for some reason I thought I would give their second a listen, which I thought was superb

stadium arcadium would have been a great single album..

There's a few good songs, but really, it has less good songs than pretty much every other RHCP album. Except it has twice as many songs -- twice as many chances to get it right -- so really, it's a gash album. Badly gash.

Anything after Insomniac by Green Day is god awful , I don't mind American Idiot like..Chilli Peppers for me anything after Red Hot Minute although Californication has it's moments..

American Idiot is -- clichéd as it is -- a class album. And quite an important one. Dookie is my personal favourite though.

And I love By the Way and Californication, so I slightly disagree there. They were also quite important albums (any rock album that does well in the mainstream I class as important these days, because it's such a blood anomaly), but they're just fantastic funk rock records. Proper feel good stuff, I think. That's why the softer (read: more boring) more pop-like approach of Stadium Arcadium angered me so much.

Green Day's 39/Smooth and Kerplunk are my faves , I love dookie and Insomniac , but there is something about the first 2 albums and the raw sound that make them for me very unique for the time...

Do you like NOFX?? they have some great early albums , Tool too...The first 4 chilli peppers albums are great , if you haven't already check them out...

Blasphemy! Their first is just as good as their second, if not better IMO.

RFUS, give Interpol's self titled another go, the first 5 tracks and the last track are worth listening to, however the album on the whole is not great agreed.

Identity Crisis by Thrice is pretty dire, although they were only finding their feet.

I'll give it a re-run ;-)

I haven't stopped listening to their second
