Away tickets on Stub Hub

Tickets for most of our away matches are up on Stub Hub now, Ive just had a look and the prices are horrendous. The cheapest is about £140 and then the prices just rocket.

If I recall the derby at Anfield are fetching approx £150. And that is plain ridiculous.

What is more mysterious is that as a Club we havent issued away tickets for more than the first two matches yet so just how are these tickets going on sale.

Ive long suspected that getting an away ticket nowadays is next to hopeless. The people who never miss an away match obviously come first in the queue and these people are going to preserve their place in the queue by buying the tickets anyway.

How often do we see away tickets for sale on here. Its no loss for the chosen few to sell the tickets on fans forums, they are never going to lose their place in the queue.

Its not going to change though this system is it. But the allocation division needs to change.

Im a shareholder and Im going to make a few boardroom enquiries about this over the next few days.

Probably get nowhere a usual mind you.

There's been plenty of opportunity and threads detailing this, you could of started last season with no away credits yet qualified for anfield away. One of the regular posters on here produced a spreadsheet detailing it. There has always been chances to get to aways and build up your credits, but people tend to shrug their shoulders and say it's impossible, it's not, you just gotta go the unpopular ones and start from there;)

I can't see any tickets for any of our away games on Stubhub.

It was possible to get tickets for plenty of away games last season, and it will be the same for some games this season. Go to home cup games, go to the aways that go to small numbers of credits or general sale, and it is easy to climb the priority ladder in no time.

Getting on the ladder has been easy if you make an effort, when we played awful under Martinez it was simple but those who moan didnt want to watch us then. As for StubHub I thought it was home tickets only, cant work that out

Been saying this for a while now, I have 2 shares, but couldn't get 1 ticket for the fa cup final. I'm not a season ticket holder, haven't been for 9 years, but I struggle getting away tickets, to pl and European matches

I'm not 100% sure , but I think you still need to have the requisite number of credits even if you're a shareholder.

Why should shares get you a fa cup final ticket?
Not saying they should, just saying I struggled getting a ticket. But with my shares, being in my family for many years, my uncle was a member of the 100 club, who passed me down the shares, thought there might of been some sort of loyalty. Don't forget, I only go to away matches, if and when I get tickets, been to most away pre season friendlies, and still have family at finch farm

Isnt that a good thing? You shouldnt be able to get those tickets, no offense mate
Maybe, but only 30,000 season ticket holders, when we played Chelsea. Corporate seats etc, but when your family has been involved since the mid to late 40's it's a bit upsetting. Not saying I'm privelidged, by now means. Just thought I thought I might of had a chance of a ticket after all the season holders had got there's. I'm not being bitter, but there's not many shareholders,

Why should shareholders get tickets for the Merseyside derby and people who are close to having a specific number of aways but slightly miss out due to the criteria? I've never seen 2500 derby tickets vanish so fast.

People moaning that they can't get tickets for aways. I've built up my aways twice over the last 5 seasons. I started with 0 in 2013, by 2015 I was the first to get them. I then let them slip again and have built them back up since. Use the home games in the cups to your advantage, by 2018 you'll be going into the new season with a fair few.

Why should you get a ticket for the Cup Final as a shareholder ahead of people that travel up and down the country every other week mate?

When we played Chelsea in the final we were only allocated around 27000 seats. Other teams returned their allocated tickets which then bumped it up a bit more, but still season ticket holders and guys without one but had been every game home and away missed out. It'll be a nightmare for some if we hopefully achieve and win something this season.
