Wary of making new threads but thought last night every one of you deserved the result more than anyone. There is very little to shout about at the moment with the state of the club, manager issues and the squad being decimated with injuries.
Thursday night, away from home, in London. Zero expectation, infact an expectation of us being pummelled and understandably so.
Yet a day on I’m still proud and pleased of every single one of you, your voices came through the tele last night for 90 mins, despite us being battered. Despite us having so, so many issues on and off the field you all made that trip, knowing what was likely and were absolutely second to none. My anxiety stops me really pushing to go to aways anymore, but for the first time in a long time I wish I was there. I was buzzing for you lot last night more than the players.
Just wanted to acknowledge that fully. You deserve a hell of a lot more usually those of you who makes these trips like your life depends on it and hopefully you’ll get more like last night. You sell out everywhere and are a credit to a club who often don’t deserve you. Genuinely.
