yep, kind of forgot that. as soon as the season's over, i don't see why it shouldn't be open

I think each team should be allocated one/two in-season transfers and get rid of the winter transfer window and keep the summer one (stopping at the begining and opening at the end). Would stop panic buying and allow teams to cover emergencies.................but hey, what the hell do you care what I think

Abolishing it altogether would be a major mistake, IMO. Imagine going through the whole season wondering if Baines was going to be around for the next game. The managers advocating this, I suspect, are the likes of Ferguson et al, who would like nothing better than to keep the "smaller" clubs unsettled all season.
