Read this in the paper today could'nt believe how any rational thinking person could get roped into a movie like this :-

Avatar fans struck with depression, amid racist message claims | Metro.co.uk

Personally (I know its only a film) living in a harsh jungle enviroment surrounded by nasty creatures and having to worry about a cruel corporation who hires mercenarys who would kill without a second thought - is not my idea of utopia.
Some people really need to get a grip - don't they ???

Although I have to admit the blue theme to the aliens was rather agreeable (y)

i like films with blue themes:unsure:

The storyline is pretty awful and is little different to something hokey like Pocahontas, but it sure is a nice movie to look at.

As for people getting depressed because they don't live like Pandorans. Sure they'd love to be killing their own food instead of whinging about stuff on their computers. Pampered sods don't know they're born.

Suppose I can sympathise a bit ......If I watched the season review of the 1984-85 season enough times - I could become very depressed longing for that brief slice of footballing utopia. :P
