Attendance On Tuesday Night?

Bit of both, but the Tuesday night situation really doesn't help alot of people. I'd have been nailed on for a Saturday but Tuesdays are a no go for some people.

Lower the gate the less booing there will be. I don't buy the Tuesday thing, if we were in the top 4 right now it would be rammed.
They have all contributed to the situation in their own ways. Which are the most influential factors is up to debate.

Tuesday night, which is just after many people have gone back to work after Christmas and New Year, isn't going to be a great appeal.

People will be short of money and having to be realistic about working again. If it had been on Sat / Sun it would have been more popular.

However, a lot of these cup third round cup fixtures have appeared to be quite low attendances based on the highlights.

Nevertheless, how we're playing really will not be helping at all. If you're thrashing teams it makes it more of a spectacle.

I think a lot of people are just closing their eyes and hoping everything goes away.

Think our fans just need to start Beliebing.

But in all seriousness, we're currently really sh!te, miserable cold night, on telly anyway.

Understandable for me.

This without being melodramatic is "do or die",win and our season with the Europa League in the distance is very much alive(depending on mondays draw obviously;))lose and the winter looks bleaker than an old bleaky, bleak winter:(

If that sheister Nolan does one of his usual snidey challenges it may generate enough atmosphere to stir a reaction from both crowd and players...can't see the need for ear defenders otherwise

Yep,come on Nolan you wannabee kopite,do it,you know it makes sense;)lol(is this what we've come to to rescue our season, dear,oh dear!:()

If this would have been played on a Saturday, I would have brought a car full mixed with Evertonians and Hammers. No can do on a Tuesday night though. Looking at the website, can't see more than 20,000 going. Our utter sh1teness is obviously also a major factor.

22,000. Factors: we are garbage; whu not a big attraction; it's cold; no one has any money after the festive period (crowds are poor at the start of every new year); you can see it for nothing on your telly.

Anyone know what our lowest home cup tie gate has been in the last couple of decades? I'd suspect it's something higher than my forecasted 22K.
