Atrocities in Syria

Just watching the news about Syria and felt the need to vent some anger over what's going on there.
What are the U.N. doing about this? Why is this being allowed to continue month after month? Feck China and Russia, get the feckin troops in there and stop this murder.

Syria can get ****ed as far as I'm concerned. Yeah its horrible what's happening to their people but you know what, we've tried to save all the world problems before and it doesn't do any good. Let them sort themselves out.

this is correct, should keep are noses out, we would just go in are troops get killed and then some hardline muslim group end up in charge and treat us as the enermy, not worth a drop of british blood, if polticions are that botherd let them go and fight not someone else sons and daughters,let other nations give it a go of fighting instead of the uk and usa , there alright passing bits of paper around then stand back and let others do the dirty work, If its that bad let there brothers in the region put a stop to it, its about time we stopped trying to police the world and let the world get on with its own problems.

This. Who appointed the UK/USA the World Police? Neither country are powerful enough to sustain it anymore in any event, time to leave people to their own destiny.

the thing both those countries have is little regard for life, they oppose anybody that they think is having any infuence other than there own in the region, life is cheap to both of them including there own peoples lifes so they wont be ased about the syrian people so long as who ever is in charge looks to them for trade, in oil arms ect .

this. it is just politics. especially russia is trying to grow their influence this way. opposing everything in UN,,they are utter #%Â¤&/&%/&%##!

Nail on head. China has been propping up North Korea since the cold war and returns refugees in the knowledge they'll go straight to the gulag. They're almost singlehandedly propping up Mugabe and the Burmese generals, too.

We might do a llittle better on human rights but you're kidding yourself if you think we get involved anywhere for reasons other than the above though. Politics is ****, ain't it.

I don't see what's wrong with getting involved to serve our own interests. It's what we should be doing ffs. Sack everyone else off, have to look after our own in times like these. Cold hard truth of it. Although I think it's minging that we send soldiers to these stupid countries just for oil.

I reckon they need to find some oil in Syria to handle this bidniz.
I'm pretty sure that Syria is something the Arab League ( or whatever is their secret word clique called ) should handle and would not like the UK come with Tim Howard to bomb the place up.

Can we not just stick that Qatada fella in a cargo plane and drop him there in a crate (maybe with a parachute to appease all the do gooders), I know he isn't Syrian but who gives a feck.
