I don't really get it.. the loophole let him withdraw cash he didn't have, but the withdrawals appeared on his balance, so it wasn't like it was free money, just more like a massive overdraft facility? What sort of an idiot racks up £1m on an overdraft?

You can deposit money into the ATM's now, as they count the money. So I doubt it.

unless its a different program/function used to count on deposits, and withdrawal it may just judge on was the sensor activated to say it was taken....or something
