So just found out today when a policy changed and I had to sign new forms that I'm an "at will" employee. This means I can be terminated at any time and without reason. Didn't really pay attention when I got the job, was just glad to have one.
Never heard anything like this in England, would it even be legal back home? And why in the balls is it legal over in the States?
Starting to get annoyed by how workers are treated over here. Minimum wage is $7.25(£4.63), a lot of jobs start with no holiday day, some start with 5 and you earn 1 a year, so it takes at least 15 years to get what you'd have by rights in England.
I could rant longer but I'm starvin.
