At what point do we want blood?

Both Assou-Ekotto and Dawson deserved to walk today, but inept, weak, p!ss-poor refereeing allowed both to stay on. When Ekotto studded Cahill and Cahill got up over him I wanted Tim to knock Ekotto's teeth out, right hander him and knock him clean out. Fully warranted, fully deserved. As it was Ekotto got a booking and Fellaini did as well for F*** All. Hopefully Moyes sticks a vid in the post showing Ekotto raise his hands twice and one the second occasion hit Fellaini in the face.
As for Dawson, having got a yellow card then leads elbow first into Fellaini which the ref gives the free kick and nothing else. Dawson is not Alan 'England Captain' Shearer and so should not be allowed to get away with such behaviour.
So so so many times in todays game was I yearning for any blue shirt to split one of theirs in two, because it would have been righteous.
When referees do not protect players, players have to protect players.
Harking back a few years but Parkinson, Horne, Carsley, Gravesen and Ferguson would not have been so freely kicked and fouled today without reprisal.
Where is the assassin in our side?

Eh Lucas Neil I'm afraid trouble is he is as obvious as a Cheftain tank:(

I'll be honest. Security neatly got involved where I was as I was baying for blood and using colorful language.

I'm not proud of me.

I just wanted a few throats gripped in that game. The referee was f*cking dire and tried his best to award them that game.

I thought Fellaini did well to calm himself down. It would be lovely to see a player smack somebody, but playing with 10men and then missing a player for 5-6 games isnt really ideal. Our players dont take any [Poor language removed] and never back down, but they are sensible and never take it too far. Thats cos of our Godlike Manager.

Fellaini didn't take any messing, took an elbow from Crouch and promptly returned the favour.

And the 20 other snide fouls? I have never seen a game where Cahill has been kicked more times. And they went for Pienaar as well, studs on the knee, two footers from behind, elbows in the back. Where is our reducer? The player that will hammer the tw*ts on the other team that take liberties with the smaller players like Pienaar and Baines.

Thought ekkoto was a right [Poor language removed] today. Several occasions he bottled his challenges. Had a crap game and was rightly subbed at half time. Thought Spurs were quite a soft team really which surprised me.

Just to be fair too, thought Rodwell was very lucky to stay on the pitch!

Before Jo got taken off he should have had orders to earn a yellow. Same with Yobo. Rodwell had got his (wrongly). There should have been a queue trying to get at Palacios and Ekotto. I wanted eleven yellows for us today, scythe Lennon, drop Defoe. You kick ours, we kick yours.

He was suspended, his name is Johhny H. Teams dont really have players like that anymore. I think Roy Keane was the last of those players.

The ref was a joke today. Ekotto and Dawson both deserved to walk and as you said Crouch elbowed Fellaini. All the commentators did though, was concentrating on Fellaini's revenge. When we have Jags, Neville and Heitinga back, we won't take any bullshit from anyone anymore.

I agree, I would love to see someone get lamped, but its not really practical. I recall Big Dunc got loads of stick back in the day, for his many, many reds. The thing is, its only a matter of time before a fan takes things into their own hands, theres too many clueless Refs out there.

So you'd rather a couple of players got sent off, probably not got the point and have suspensions to deal with???

Thought the boys got stuck in well today. Like Goat said, they don't take any nonsense, but they know where the line is. The ref was clearly a bit card happy today (why Fellaini got booked, I have no idea) so if we'd have gone flying in to every tackle we'd not have a team to play in the next 3 games.

We hardly have a team anyway, we have been thread bare for over two months. And cowardly allowing the likes of Pienaar to get whacked for 90 minutes every game means he does not play the next games anyway.
Something has to give. Time to get nasty.

Die on your feet or live on your knees.
