10 games played, we were on 13 points, having played far easier teams.

Some of you lot need to take a deep breath.

Most reasonable people on here realise there's no way we'll go down, but that doesn't mean there's nothing to worry about.

Last year we terribly inconsistant for the most part, but the one thing that we did on a seemingly regular basis was raise ourselves for the big games. I always felt that any big side that came up against us knew we would give them a game, and i haven't seen that yet this season. Thats what worries me this season most tbh, our lack of a fight in us.

But of course we'll stay up FFS

I take it you haven't been watching the;

GAMES
Managerial decisions
Tactics
Substitutions
Players

And general demeanour in and around the club.....

Exactly. Last season at this time we were playing nice stuff, just not getting the results. We still had Pienaar too, and Arteta. And Beckford who in the end contributed 10 goals for us.

There is no way anyone should expect a traditional strong second half to the season this time around...the energy is simply not there.

I would take mid-table right now if it was offered, but I think we will be mixing it with the bottom 6 or 7 this season.

Uh, precisely ? We had all those players and still only managed 13 points from 10 games, against weaker opposition.

Pienaar went in January, Arteta was injured in March, and Saha was out from the middle of February until the end of the season, with the exception of two league games (i believe) in March.

We've already played many of our most difficult matches. People saying we're going to get relegated already are nuts.

We had Arteta, Pienaar, Beckford as well who we havent replaced.

Still we are in no danger at all of relegation.............yet

And more worryingly its not how we will do this season, its how we do next season and the season after that with no money and no new ideas.

Give your arse a Drink mate, it's time to be POSITIVE
