Not only have Villa not signed Ba, they didn't even try to!!!

It speaks volumes for the excellent financial handling of Everton by the board that we were at least able to speak to him, even if we couldn't afford agent fees.

I'm confident this is just the start of various episodes over the summer where we meet and speak with players.

There's a statutory requirement to measure our business activity against theirs. Personally I wouldn't.
