So advise me on forum etiquette. How do I become impeccably green?

For a start don't make some other guys thread all about you- you put the guys efforts down and you fail to see the difference between reporting on a game and commentating on one. If you reported a game for the local media like that they would bang you up for being completely mad.

mickm86 I think your hearts in the right place but you need to chill the hell out mate.

Hello all, I was wondering if you could help a fellow blue brother out.

For the last couple of years I've been training in sports broadcast journalism, done my masters and have started out working freelance with my own equipment.

Although I am capable of doing just about everything (filming, editing, graphics and commentary – even writing match reports) I’ve always had trouble getting full time jobs with the “big boys”, having previously been knocked back for jobs at Villa, West Brom, Crystal Palace, Man United and even (god help me) Liverpool!

Same result with lower league teams – Leicester, Bournemouth, Notts County and Swindon.

Only at Liverpool did I get to interview stage, but had a bad ’un to be honest as the software they use isn’t the same as mine.

Presently I cover my local side but I am currently on a bit of a break, so I’d like to take this opportunity to ask your opinion of my work and tell me how you think the product could be improved and impress the merciless HR departments of our football clubs across the country!

There are quite a few videos, but I’ll just link you to one.

Your help and advice is much appreciated.

copy Kammy, passion and enthusiasm with thrown in comedy, can't go far wrong

Lad I know was playing in this. You could have done with calling him useless, to be honest.

As others have said, bit more emotion/pitch change in your voice and you'll be sound.
