Jeff Stelling just said on Soccer Saturday that Gyan is going on a seasons loan to some Arab team...

...now I know we havnt seen The Straq play yet, but surely, surely to Christ this would have been worth a look?

I doubt we could afford his wages, his loan fee and hes really shown himself to be an utter bell.

He is a very good player but this shows he has troubles because he is sunderlands best striker by a mile.

There's no way they would loan him to a rival.

I would love him at Goodison just for his dancing. Imagine 35.000 Evertonians dancing in the stands when he scores. Magical.

An Arsenal mate of mine was saying Sunderland had strengthened and will overtake Everton this season. They have strengthened b y losing all of their top three scorers from last season and bringing in a striker that we rejected when desperate. Yes, that's clearly enough to bridge that 7 point gap from last season.

Beckford score about as many as he did last year, and certainly way, way more per minute. Except Beckford was free, he cost them what was it? £8 million or something? Crazy. One good world cup showing does not a good player make.

I would disagree mate, I think the lad is a top player, for the right club he would score goals.

Sunderland are gash, I would love to see him back in the prem for a decent team.

I also believe Beckford with a run would score goals in the prem as well.

Sunderland are indeed gash but Bent still did alright.

He's not all that mate. I don't rate him at all. That said loaning out your star striker is a puzzling move.
