hi lads, just making an inquiry, has anyone gone to a roma match,im heading over to rome next week and roma are at home to udinese, thinking of going with the family to the match, ive looked on the internet for tickets for the curva sud but seem to get either travel companies or ticket outlets (touts) selling tickets at over the odds,i know ill get tickets for some part of the ground but would like to sample the atmosphere of the curva sud. ive also heard that the ultras buy up these tickets at the start of the season and theres none on sale to the general public........anyone any info on where to get tickets in rome?

thats a lie.
when i was in rome, you could always get tickets for either curva upto the day before the game.
hate to dissapoint you but its very over-rated, unless they are playing lazio or juventus, the atmosphere is dead.
I use to always sit in the curva because its the cheapest tickets.
i grew to hate the stadio olimpico, its a rubbish stadium.

forgot to add,
roma have a few stalls around the city, one in the club shop in the city centre where you can get tickets.
need to show your passport if your non italian or passport or id card if you are italian

My family once went to see Roma - Lazio and bought expensive tickets via tout. They were supposed to be Curva Sud but instead they were in the away stand and one of them was misprinted so one had to be left behind. My brother managed somehow to speak them in Curva Sud so it was only a bit of a disaster. I was abroad myself so I didn't go with the rest of my family.

If you find out a decent solution (or whatever you decide) post here.

We went to see Roma v Lazio a couple of years ago, got the tickets off listicket.it and had to show our passport to collect them from the ground. Incidentally it was the maddest game I've ever been to, running battles on the terraces all through the game, cars set ablaze outside, bricks and bottles flying everywhere, totally crazy.

Thanks lads for the info, can't see udinese bringin too many fans so trouble may be at a minimum,in Florence as I type, heading for Rome on Thursday so have plenty of time to get tickets,I've heard that the atmosphere is rather "tasty" on derby day and it can be subdued on match days with certain teams but it's another stadium/club off the bucket list! I'll head for that Roma club shop first and see how we get on,
Cheers lads,thanks again.
