Like @Mikey_Fitzgerald suggested it would have been a nice time for him to leave after the cup win. As soon as they lose a couple next season it will be exactly the same as this year.

He has struggled and is not the perfect manager. However 16 trophies and 10 major honours is still a very fine record. Maybe it's a case of careful what you wish for?

I think the biggest issue Wenger / Arsenal fans will have next season is this mind set of wanting him gone. So when the same kinda season happens with the same players they will be quite restless, more so than this season.

As sad as it is to say, Wenger should have left before the fans could really turn on him, outstaying his welcome unless we pulls it out of the bag next season and wins the league again.

He's made a massive mistake here imo. Wenger doesn't need Arsenal to be successful, he should of walked away and laughed as they fell apart. Arsenal fans are some of the most deluded, spoilt clowns in football. Cringeworthy level delusions of grandeur.

Was expecting him to stay but think he'll end up regretting not going out on a high.

Rightly or wrongly Arsenal fans seem to think they can get a better manager and doubt that is going to change because of the FA cup win or even if Arsenal do well next season.
