Great run club, or bit of a lack of ambition going on as the press would have you believe?

For me it's the former.

Talk of Walcott going today unless he accepts their offer sounds like they have that deal right. Not really fulfilled his potential and doesn't deserve a huge wage rise as he has harly set the world on fire.

Cue an Arab with a very small penis coming in and offering him 3 x his wage just so he can own him.

The only thing Arsenal are guilty of is not really joining in with the madness set by Manyoo, Chelsea and Citeh. Their fans should be pleased, not ****ging them off across every media outlet known to man.

Whilst they would rather have not sold them, they have received fantastic fees for players who have left and should be commended.

Bizarre, when they signed Podolski and Giroud early on this summer i really thought they were going to have a go for once... lo and behold they go and sell Van Persie and Song with no real sign of replacing them.

Arsenal have their business model spot on.

To have come so close to the massive-spending teams over such a long period of time is testament to Arsene Wenger's management.

should be their last summer of tis. All their players are now on long term deals. Proper chance to build a side.

Walcotts an idiot

Arsenal's business model is fine. It just doesn't promote winning trophies.

Walcott's terrible though, would be better for them if he doesn't accept the 5 year deal.

Badly run club

look at the caliber of players he has let go so easily because of his stupidity, they are basically a feeder club for europes elite, and the most shocking thing is he could of kept most of them if he wanted to.

8 years no trophies end of

Their players whine too much and in that case they get on my nerves. However Arsenal is one of the very few big clubs who are classy in the transfer market. Wenger has never tapped up anyone and when transfers are initally rebuffed like with Arteta initally and Jags they lay off.

Aren't we all basically feeder clubs for the super rich clubs now? It's not just Arsenal to be fair!

Fabregas - taken from academy sold for 25m approx
Van Persie - 2.75m - sold for 24m
Nasri - 12m sold for 25m
Kolo Toure - 150,000 - sold for 16m
Adebayor - 3m sold for 25m

Don't seem that badly run looking at that :)

I enjoy the daily arsenal segment on talksport.

Did you know Arsene Wenger is the 2nd highest paid manager in the world?
No wonder he is so tight with the dosh.

Listened to it again tonight, think it's very boring now.

Durham is an embarassment to journalism IMO, my dog knows more about football than Gough
