William Gallas is named as Arsenal's new skipper with Gilberto and Toure as vice captains.

I think it's a strange move. Gallas has been often injured. I suspect if Wenger was pkanning to stick around after his current contract, he'd have been more forward thinking and made Fabregas captain. Young, yes, but more first team games under his belt than many 5 years older.
