Arsenal for the league?

Player Valuation: £70m
Feeling like they've put a decent side together on the quiet there.

Cazorla is a class player with more end product than the likes of Walcott or Arshavin.

Song and Arteta both look good together and should be better after a pre-season together.

Podolski is class and Giroud gives them more options up top.

Still feel like there's something missing at the back but I can't see mertesacker being as bad as he was last year and Vermaelen should be past his injury issues by now.

Going to put a couple of quid on an Arsenal/Leicester league win double.

way too shaky at the back. a fully fit vermaelan would be good, but they should have gone for vertonghan to go with him

The 4 champions league teams all look ace, to be honest. Be tough for the likes of Spurs and Newcastle to keep up let alone us or the RS.

If spurs can replace Modric (with someone genuinely top level) they can stay with most of those sides IMO. I can't see any of the chasing pack getting close though.

The question is are they good enough at the back. Their midfield and forward options are as good as any in the league.

With a strong and consistent centre-pairing I can't see why Arsenal won't do far better than last year. Even without RVP.

I'm pretty interested in seeing Podolski play. Other than the odd international and tournament I haven't seen him play. Let's hope Arsenal do a job on the RS and they can become our new Man City.

Me too. He's prolific at international level but doesn't seem to score too many domestically. Still a class player. I think Arsenal might go with a 4-3-3 next year.

Heard quite a few saying the same, but I think they will struggle. RVP had a good season, but in all honesty last season was the first in which he avoided injury and had some consistent form. Although I agree Cazorla is a great addition, I think Podolski is highly overrated and Giroud will have to find his feet in the prem.

Love the Cazorla deal for them. Agree with the comments on Vermaelen, he's a weak link. Even with him starting, they're still one CB short imo though, need to add.
