Under Moyes we played well a lot of times but whenever we got results against good teams it was mainly due to organisation and defending, which are skills of course.

Yesterday we just turned up and went "we are Everton, we have come to bend you over then take the piss for the next 45 minutes, ok?". I've longed for the day.

Why would you take the piss out of someone you've just bent over? Poo stains on the kecks?

The best thing is we WILL get better. Not even 12 months into his reign and we at playing some incredible stuff.

And we all use words like phenomenal, incredible and know-how, these days.

Knife to a gunfight, just be glad to get out of OT alive, I am very pleased that we no longer have to listen to defeatist crap like this.......We are Everton.....

My Dad said this. I remember him saying to me when I was about 12 "you think this is good, and it is, but it's not proper football. It's not Everton. You'll know proper football when you see it". Said yesterday that it was like the mid 80s again, and bloody hell this is proper football.

My uncle went the match during the 50-70's mate and saw some of the best sides we've ever had, then took me during the 80's, he is gone now like, and he endured the 90's-early 2000's too, but honestly this is the closest feeling I have had since the 80's like and I know he'd be proud of the way we play now, through the 90's he always said, even after good results 'were not playing like everton' seeing yesterday I finally got what he means like

The everton he knew is back and it's not gonna be going away anywhere anytime soon

I suspect RM has his replacements for all 3 loanees lined up already in case the worst comes to the worst so as to make sure we do improve further. For me, Barry would be the most difficult to have to replace.

Barry will be here next season of that I have no doubt. I mean where else is he gonna go? He knows he's onto a good thing here and at 33 he's not gonna want to go sitting on a bench somewhere.

Tbh I honestly think Gerrard will be here too on loan again (barca transfer embargo asside)

The tricky one will be lukaku. But again I have good feelings if Chelsea want to let him go. I think Chelsea will want a buy back option, were the most likely to accommodate such a deal.

Champions League group stages could be worth 20 million alone. 20 mill on Rom and splunk the other 20 on Lallana and the Lascalles kid and possibly Rodwell. Maybe even get Gerry back on loan next year.

I prefer 'confidently optimistic, never say die F### YOU' to the word 'arrogance'. But I guess 'arrogance' is shorter....

i would probably take the 'ok?' out of that and change 45 to 90.

It's a word Bobby loves, and so do I. Saturday we saw what he means. We play our game. We worry about our performance. Let the opponent deal with us, not the other way around.

Naismith had some telling comments in his interview last week. We train to work on our stuff, we don't gameplan to figure out how to react to the opponent.

For all of Moyes' great attributes...and there were many I don't care what anyone says...he never really was able to shed the image of Everton as the underdog because he never really believed anything else. To him we were the underdog fighting against the odds. That was fine for a long time, but RM has blown that up and said "we're good enough. Let's go prove it".

I feel like someone has come round and opened up all the curtains in the house and flooded it with sunshine after you've been home sick in bed for a while, and said "right, time to get up and look outside. It's a beautiful world out there, quit laying about".

Is right
